Privacy Policy — Tino Discovery

Purpose and information accessed

Tino Discovery is a personal research tool used by the operator to organize research results and save selected output to a designated location in Google Drive. The tool uses the Google Drive API permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This permission allows the tool to create new Drive files and manage files that it creates or that the operator explicitly makes available to it. It does not grant access to all files in the operator's Google Drive.

Authorization

The tool uses Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization. The operator chooses the Google Account and approves the requested permission. OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are kept in the local authentication environment used by the tool and are not included in these public pages.

Use of Google user data

Google Drive access is used only to create, organize, update and, when requested by the operator, retrieve the tool's research output. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, provided to data brokers or used to determine creditworthiness.

Google API data use requirements

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

Research output selected by the operator is stored in the operator's Google Drive and remains under the operator's account controls. Local working files and authorization information may remain on the operator's computer until the operator removes them. This tool does not operate a separate public database of Google Drive contents.

Revocation and deletion

The operator can revoke the application's access through Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents future authorized access but does not delete files already created in Google Drive. The operator can delete those files through Google Drive and can remove local copies and locally stored authorization information from the computer running the tool.

This website

These pages contain no sign-in form, advertising code or application analytics script. Hosting is provided by Cloudflare, which processes requests required to deliver the pages. Information sent by email is processed by the email provider.
